This is not an everyday product — and it is not meant for everyday use. It is an eye area ritual once or twice a week: gel patches that in 20–30 minutes intensely saturate skin with moisture, leave it looking more plump and add a visual glow. Voodoo Lily — the unusual ingredient

Amorphophallus Campanulatus — or Voodoo Lily — is a tropical plant whose root contains a high concentration of glucomannan. Glucomannan is a natural polysaccharide capable of binding many times its own weight in water. In cosmetics it acts as an intensive moisture binder and film-former: creating a thin, hydrating layer on skin that helps it look more plump and smoother.

This is not a common ingredient in European cosmetics — and that is precisely what makes this formula unusual. Most eye patches on the market rely on hyaluronic acid or collagen. Here, the moisture-binding work is done by glucomannan — in a different way, with different mechanics.

Cosmetic Gold

Honestly — gold in this formula is an aesthetic element, not an active skincare ingredient. It gives the patches their characteristic golden appearance and leaves skin with a visual glow after removal. It is a beautiful additional dimension to the ritual, and should be understood as exactly that — a visual effect, not a skincare claim.

Moisture base

• Glycerin — in the first active ingredient position after water. Binds moisture and supplements glucomannan’s action. In the patch format, glycerin works particularly well — the extended contact with skin (20–30 minutes) allows it to saturate the outer layers more effectively than simple application.
• Carob Gum + Carrageenan — gel structure builders from natural sources (carob tree and seaweed). They give the patches their characteristic elastic, gel-like texture that moulds to the eye area.

About formula honesty

This formula contains methylparaben (a preservative) and PEG-12 dimethicone (a silicone emulsifier). Both are widely used cosmetic ingredients with good safety profiles, but we mention them because we believe you are the kind of person who reads ingredient lists and wants to know everything inside — not just what sounds good.

Texture and usage experience

The gel patches are elastic, conform to the eye area and stay in place without sliding. If you chill them in the fridge before use — the effect is additionally pleasant: the coolness helps skin look fresher and reduces a sense of puffiness. After removal, a small amount of serum remains on the skin — massage it in gently until absorbed. Skin looks smoother, more plump and with a subtle glow.

How to use

1. Carefully open the packaging and remove the gel patches.
2. Place on clean, dry skin under the eyes.
3. Leave on for 20–30 minutes. This is your moment — use it.
4. Remove the patches and gently massage the remaining serum into the skin until absorbed.
5. Use once to twice a week.
6. Extra tip: chill in the fridge before use — the coolness enhances the refreshing sensation.
