Natural Shampoo with Silk Amino Acids and Nettle Extract

Most shampoos contain one cleansing agent and one conditioning additive. This formula is built differently — with four different cleansing agents that together clean effectively yet more gently than a single aggressive surfactant could. Silk amino acids give hair smoothness during washing itself, while nettle and sea buckthorn extracts care for the scalp.

Silk Amino Acids — Smoothness from Within

Silk Amino Acids are low-molecular silk protein particles. Unlike ordinary conditioners that coat the hair surface with a film, amino acids absorb into the hair fibre itself and deliver smoothness from within. The result — hair feels smoother, shinier and easier to comb after washing. The effect builds with regular use — after 2–3 weeks the difference is noticeable.

Botanical Extracts for the Scalp

• Nettle Leaf Extract (Urtica Dioica) — one of the classic Baltic and European hair care botanicals. Rich in minerals — iron, silicon, calcium — and natural vitamins. Traditionally used to maintain scalp vitality.
• Sea Buckthorn Fruit Extract — strengthens the skin barrier and delivers antioxidant protection to the scalp. Bio2You’s signature ingredient, present even in hair care.

Conditioning Effect Built into the Shampoo

• Polyquaternium-7 — a conditioning polymer that wraps the hair fibre in a thin protective layer during washing. Makes combing easier and reduces static. That is why hair feels smoother after this shampoo than after a basic one — even without a separate conditioner.
• Glycerin — a humectant that helps hair and scalp maintain moisture levels during washing.

Fragrance

Natural bitter orange peel oil with a vanillin note gives the shampoo a warm, subtly sweet citrus fragrance. The scent is pronounced during washing and leaves a light, pleasant note in the hair after rinsing.

Texture and Feel

A well-lathering shampoo with a moderately thick consistency. The lather is creamy and pleasant, rinses off easily. After rinsing, hair feels smoother and lighter — thanks to silk amino acids and the conditioning polymer.

How to Use

1. Wet hair with warm water.
2. Apply a small amount of shampoo to your palms and massage into the scalp with your fingertips.
3. Let the lather run down the hair length — no need to scrub the hair itself.
4. Rinse thoroughly with warm water.
5. If hair is very dry or damaged, follow with a Bio2You hair mask or conditioner.
