In this shower gel it becomes a warm, spiced scent that grows richer and deeper in shower steam. Honey Ginger is a gel for warmer moods — not fresh and citrusy like Herbal Mix, not sweet-fruity like Raspberry Dreams, but warm, full-bodied and slightly spicy.

Betaine — the key care ingredient

For most shower gels, the care story ends with glycerin. The Honey Ginger formula also contains betaine — an amino acid derivative that works differently from a standard humectant. Betaine attracts water molecules and helps skin retain moisture even while surfactants are doing their cleansing work. The practical difference is simple: after the shower, skin feels soft and supple rather than tight and dry.

If you are someone who needs lotion or body cream immediately after showering because skin feels taut — betaine in the formula can change that sensation. It will not eliminate the need for moisturiser entirely, but the difference is noticeable.

The rest of the care

• Sea Buckthorn Fruit Extract — supports the skin barrier, skin feels fresher after rinsing. The Bio2You signature ingredient — present even in an everyday shower gel.

Fragrance

The honey and ginger scent profile contains two aromatic components that indicate the character of the composition:

• Citral — the molecule that gives ginger and lemongrass their characteristic sharp freshness. In this composition, citral is the ginger side — the sting that prevents the honey sweetness from becoming cloying.
• Benzyl Benzoate — the sweet, balsamic note forming the honey side. Together with citral — a warm, balanced fragrance that is neither too sweet nor too sharp.

Cleansing base

The same two-surfactant system proven across the entire Bio2You shower gel range:

• Sodium Coco-Sulfate — coconut-derived surfactant, effective and gentler than SLS.
• Lauryl Glucoside — a second, even milder surfactant from coconut and corn. Together — good lather, clean feel, no dryness.

Texture and feel

A creamy gel with a pearlescent shimmer — the same pleasant texture as other Bio2You gels. Dense, creamy lather. The fragrance grows warmer and more saturated in shower steam — ginger spice mingles with honey sweetness.

After rinsing — skin feels soft, clean, without tightness. Betaine’s contribution is noticeable — especially if skin usually feels dry after showering.
