Open the packaging and you understand immediately — this soap is different. Oat flakes are visible through the translucent glycerin base, and they are not there for decoration. During washing, the flakes provide a gentle exfoliation — the kind that removes the surface layer of skin softly, without the aggression of a scrub. The honey and milk fragrance complements the visual impression with a warm, sweet scent that fills the bathroom before you even turn on the water.

Oat flakes — why they are inside

Oats (Avena Sativa) in soap are not a trend ingredient. Oat flakes act on the skin as a gentle mechanical exfoliant — during washing they lightly rub across the skin and help remove the layer of dead skin cells that ordinary soap simply does not reach. This is not aggressive scrubbing — more a light, everyday-suitable texture that leaves skin smoother and fresher-feeling.

In addition, oat flakes contain natural beta-glucans — polysaccharides that form a light protective layer on the skin. That is why after washing with oat soap, skin tends to feel not only clean but also softer than with ordinary soap.

Aromatic composition

Honey and milk fragrance — how is it built? The INCI list offers clues:

• Hexyl Cinnamal — the floral-sweet note that creates the “milk” softness in the fragrance.
• Eugenol — a clove touch that gives “honey” its characteristic depth. Without eugenol, the honey scent would simply be sweet — with it, it becomes warm and layered.
• Citronellol + Geraniol — rose-adjacent floral notes that round out the scent profile and prevent it from becoming too heavy.
• Limonene — a light citrus freshness accent that lifts the overall impression.
• Linalool — a lavender/floral base tying the other elements together.

Together — a fragrance reminiscent of a warm kitchen on an autumn afternoon. Not aggressive, not cloying — simply homely.

Glycerin base

The same translucent glycerin soap formula found in the Apple soap:

• Glycerin — the main humectant, giving the soap its translucency and gentler wash.
• Sorbitol + Propylene Glycol — additional humectants reinforcing glycerin’s action.
• Sodium Stearate, Palmitate, Laurate — soap structure builders.
• Sodium Laureth Sulfate — the cleansing base providing lather.
• Titanium Dioxide — a mineral white pigment giving the soap a creamier, milky-warm tone against the oat flake background.

Texture and feel

The soap is thicker and more textural than the smooth Apple soap — the oat flakes are felt in the hands, giving the wash a physical dimension. During lathering, the flakes rub gently across the skin — the sensation is pleasant, not painful. The lather is creamier than from ordinary soap — the glycerin base and fatty acids see to that.

The fragrance is quiet and warm — noticeable during washing but not lingering on the hands an hour later. Will not clash with perfume.

How to use

Like any other soap — wet, lather and wash. The oat exfoliation is gentle enough for daily use. On the face — more cautiously, as facial skin is more sensitive; on the body and hands — without restriction.
